Highlights from last week:
Our first week of swimming lessons so wonderful and...WET! Hopefully the weather this week will be sunny and dry. I have reminded the students that it's a good idea to leave an extra pair of school and shoes in their lockers at school incase their footwear gets wet in the pool change rooms.
What's happening this week?
Our last week of swimming lessons at Brock pool will be this Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In Socials, we will continue to learn about European explorers interactions with the First Nation Peoples of Canada. In Science, we will be covering a few more key ideas Light unit. We have a Brain Injury Presentation this Thursday morning. The Kamloops Brain Injury Society will discuss safety and the prevention of brain injuries. In Fine Arts, we will finish up our Father's Day projects. The school Book Fair will occur this week as well. Our whole class will go to the library and preview the Book Fair on Tuesday. On Wednesday, those students with money to purchase items will be allowed to go the Book Fair in our class' designated time (about 10 minutes so students will need to know which book they would like to purchase).
