Hard to believe it is already mid-June! We have quite a few special presentations AND our field trip to the Big Little Science Centre this week. Please remember to send your child’s booster seat on Friday, June 17th :) I will also be away on Tuesday and Mrs.Gustafson will be in for me. Our P.E. schedule has been changed due to events in the gym and our field trip so Mrs. Brkovic will do her best to re-arrange and fit our class in at some point. Please remember to return all library books this week as we have finished library for the year.
This week we will finish playing the “Magic C” printing game, work more with vertical addition (we’ve been calling these “grade 1 math problems” :) ), and hopefully have time to write in our Literacy Journals using “spaghetti” and “meatball” spaces (“spaghetti space” - small space between each letter within a word VS. “meatball space” - larger space between words). We will finish up our Father’s Day project and also talk about water and road safety.
